Important Property Tax notification from SDMC. Check now before its too late.

The following message has been received from SDMC

Dear Taxpayer, Property Tax for the FY-21-22 is due. Pay your tax before 30.06.2021 and avail benefit of 15% rebate. Avail 2% extra rebate also on making online payment of tax up to ₹ 10K. An additional rebate of 3% is also available on submitting corona vaccination proof of all eligible family members.

Hurry up. 

Process:

• Visit https://mcdonline.nic.in/ to pay your Property Tax
• Select "Online Services" for your particular MCD. Select SDMC in the case of Janakpuri.
• Hover on "Property Tax" and select "Citizen Login".
• Login via your registered Mobile Number. Enter OTP to log in. In case of a new user, Click on "New User Click Here for Sign Up/Registration", enter your details to sign up.
• Once logged in, click on "Property Tax".
• A list of Properties in your account will populate.
• In case your property is not listed or if you are a new user, Click on "Register New Property", then click on "Search for UPIC"(Unique Property Identity Card). You can search your property via UPIC/Property ID, Receipt of Tax Paid or Colony & Owner Name. Select your property to add to your account.
• If your property is already listed or once you have successfully added a new property, click on the "Actions" button just next to the listed property.
•  You get options like, "Edit Property/Owner Details", "Pay Tax", "Tax Paid Details", De-Register Property", "Verify Payment Status".
• To Pay Tax, Click on "Pay Tax" from the above menu, Select Financial year "2021-22" from the dropdown menu and click on "Submit".
• A popup will ask "Is there any Modification/Change in Property/Owner Details from Last Tax Paid". Select, Yes in case you want to make changes and No to proceed to pay tax.
• Tax Calculation Page will open, Crosscheck Property Details, Owner Details and Tax Payable.
• To get the COVID Rebate, Ensure to declare about the same in the "Edit Details" Section on Property Details. You need to upload the Vaccination Certificate for the same.
• Post-cross-checking the details and making necessary changes, click on the "Pay Tax" Button. It will redirect to the payment gateway. 
• Make the Payment and it's done. You can download the receipt anytime by logging in to the portal.
